Pulleys

 Pulleys for outdoor sports such as canyoning and caving are used to move along a (horizontal) line, with a climbing rope pulley, and important to develop the necessary strength. You usually use pulleys for lifting. A pulley reduces the resistance encountered by the lifting rope. Pulleys can also increase the force you exert when lifting. This way you can lift and lower material that you cannot lift. There are also pulleys to move you along a horizontal line. Lifting pulleys come in different shapes, sizes and shapes.
