The Black Fox Plan B is a compact and versatile rescue knife that can provide the right solution in every situation.
The edge is serrated, making this knife extremely suitable for heavier tasks such as cutting through fibrous material. On the opposite side, the Plan B has a belt cutter and on the top there is a glass breaker. All parts are made of stonewashed 440C stainless steel. The handle is made of textured G10, this is a composite material with excellent wear resistance, a firm grip (even in wet conditions) and a subtle but luxurious appearance.
The Plan B comes with:
- a pre-formed kydex sheath, which is equipped with a belt clip.
- the knife has a lanyard eye and comes with paracord.
The Plan B is part of the knife series created by Tommaso Rumici for Black Fox, with the primary goal of crafting an extremely compact knife, ideal for continuous concealed carry, while remaining robust and reliable. Achieving this goal required an in-depth and prolonged ergonomic study to design a fixed blade that could effectively compete with a folding knife in terms of portability.
The result of this study is embodied in an innovative design, characterized by a unique rounded handle that drastically reduces the overall length of the knife. This type of handle allows for a comfortable and secure grip in multiple positions, significantly enhancing the overall ergonomics of the knife.
