CanyonZone developed a whistle with 2mm cord including a security lock to use safely when you go canyoning or other vertical sports and need a whistle for communication, see this link in the Knowledge base for use.
With the security lock it is not possible anymore to get stuck with the cord in your rappel device when descending .
Loud emergency whistle, over 100 decibels. This non-corrosive, bright safety whistle emits a high-pitched sound that is significantly louder than a conventional ball whistle, it is capable of producing over 100 decibels of sound to summon help in communication and emergency situations.
The whistle is equally useful in a canyon, on a mountain, at sea or anywhere as a personal protection accessory. It is a lightweight and non-corroding whistle which will float in (sea) water. Meets ISO 12402-8 safety standards. This patented emergency whistle can be used either with a lanyard or clipped directly onto an application.
Choice in different models of whistle and color cords. All models whistles are all tested to use in a canyon / cave and are canyonproof.
