Overview

Rent walkie talkies

This is also possible at Canyonzone. Working with a walkie talkie is a good way to communicate quickly and effectively during group tours, for example. Walkie talkies ensure that you can quickly and easily contact a (large) group of users. Walkie talkies make it easy to communicate in different groups.

With the walkie talkie you are able to communicate super fast and over large(r) distances to one or more users at the same time. You can reach everyone in the group at the touch of a button, without delays or extra paid calling minutes. The walkie talkie is ideal for situations where you need a limited range and is suitable for greater distances of even kilometers. This all depends on the terrain.

The range depends, among other things, on the emitted power of the device and the environment in which it is used. With the permit-free walkie talkie it is possible to communicate on an open plain (ideal situation) up to five or ten kilometers away. However, in mountainous terrain this is very different. There are all kinds of obstacles there that can severely limit the range. All in all, it is always difficult to determine in advance whether the range of the walkie talkie will be sufficient for your location and application.

Very competitive prices
You can rent walkie talkies at Canyonzone from €... per day. If you want to use the walkie talkies for longer, the price will be lower. Canyonzone rents the "Rocky Talkie Mountain Radio". This radio is license free. You usually have good reach and you don't have to worry about the permit/licenses.

Each Walkie Takie set contains:

• One radio with shatterproof screen (4.8 oz, 136 g)
• Mammut® wall lamp carabiner (23 g)
• Metal reinforced backup line
