Guide to dry ravines in the Alps: Loup, Cians, Littoral and Roya.
101 Canyons Secs Alpes Maritimes Volume 2 is a guide to dry ravines in the Maritime Alps area, it is the second volume, which includes the other areas of the Alps Maritimes.
Do you like disguises, “silly” humor, falling rocks and shocking reminders? You're not really a fan of delicacy and your mantra is "ridicule doesn't kill"? You will inevitably find what you are looking for in this first volume bringing together 52 routes in the valleys of Siagne, Var de la Vésubie and Tinée.
Borrowing from canyon descent techniques, you are invited to follow the tribulations of these joyful canyoners from the Alpes-Maritimes, in search of canyons in the winter season, when only dry routes are authorized in the department. Designed in the style of a classic topoguide (except that the neoprene has been swapped for a variation of outfits that are, to say the least... colorful), you will find for each site a description including a presentation, a technical sheet ( altitudes, height difference, length, durations, ...), accesses, descent, a topographical map with parking lots and accesses, and a topo profile, all accompanied by numerous photos.
Don't forget your helmet and rope protector!
