Communicating carabiners
The Smart Belay X is equipped with two carabiners with an integrated pulley that "communicate" with each other by means of. a steel cable. New to this belay system is the magnetic safety lock. The Smart Belay only opens when an integrated magnet makes contact with the steel cable. This ensures that it is not possible to unintentionally open both carabiners without using special (rescue) material. This ensures a traditional experience in which the participants can enter your climbing park with more certainty.
Integrated Pulleys
You know it; climbing parks with a zipline as part. The Edelrid Smart Belay X is a belay system with integrated pulleys in the carabiners. This makes the belay system suitable for climbing and adventure parks with zip lines. In addition, the pulleys ensure that the carabiners easily roll with the participants over the steel cable, which ensures less wear. The integrated Pilot Bar provides extra control during ziplines and tricky obstacles while reducing the chance of getting caught in the Smart Belay X's lines.
Streamlined Registration
Registering and monitoring these PPE materials is now even more efficient thanks to an integrated RFID transponder. With one scan it is possible to see the usage and maintenance status of the part. This saves a lot of time compared to previous registration methods and immediately increases the safety of climbing parks and climbing forests.
