Dr Anna Brunello is an anaesthesiologist and assists the Swiss Air Rescue Service as an emergency medical practitioner. She is a member of the Swiss Mountain Medicine Society and an active mountaineer. Dr Martin Walliser is Head of Accident Surgery and Vice-Chairman of the Swiss Mountain Medicine Society. He has been an active mountain guide since 1993. Dr Urs Hefti is the Head of the Swiss Sport Clinic, a clinical emergency physician as well as support for the Swiss Air Rescue Service. He is a mountaineer who has led major scientific research expeditions at high altitude.
