With the Super 8 from Black Diamond it is always safe to secure and / or descend. The Super 8 is a classic secure / descending device. It uses a unique design that eliminates excess material by thinning out the parts that do not make rope contact. This makes it up to 30% lighter than comparable eights and the rope runs just as smoothly. The Super 8 is suitable for double rope to 8.1mm and single rope to 11mm.
For a good abseil an absolute favorite remains, through the large openings the rope continues to run smoothly even when wet.
