The first book, Volume 1, is a first approach, it is for all beginners and motivators for those who want to discover, practice-oriented and want to become autonomous to move into the canyons from easy to average difficulty.
The canyon materials and techniques (slips, disconnects, bags, ropes, etc.) have evolved in recent years, presenting the current hardware that seems the most appropriate and relevant.
This booklet is not meant to be complete, but forms the essential and versatile standard techniques, the most effective practice, with maximum safety, our canyon sport trade until you reach 3-3-II (see Canyoning Rating System List attached 2 of the booklet).
Generally, this corresponds to canyons with non-consecutive abseils / descents, less than 30 m, fairly easy to walk and good visibility to the aquatic sector. There is little or no movement of water to walk through the current canyons and the jumps are easy to perform at less than 5m high.
These techniques will be useful in everyday use.
This first book will be supplemented with a booklet 2, further into techniques for the most difficult canyons.
