Petzl Sum'Tec ice ax
The Sum'tec is a technical pickel having properties of a light ice ax.
The point of this ice ax can be replaced and the handle is made of lightweight aluminum. Very light to carry along the canyoning in winter (For Protection see: Petzl Spiky & Pick Protection).
In order to be able steeper ice to feet is the Sumt'tec equipped with Trigrest. This movable support can be used in steeper ice, but on the glacier you can slide it up. The bend in the shaft begins high, making the stem is well stabbing in deep snow and you still have "clearance" in steep climbing.
