It's simple, make sure that the damaged area (or the area where you want to avoid damage) is clean and dry. Cut the patch to the correct format (which is the damage + 2.5 cm each side) and install it. Pressure from the center to the outside of the patch firmly and your product has been repaired or strengthened.
