Warmbac's oversuit for trips where ordinary caving gear is too warm.
This kit provides a reasonable level of protection to underwear and skin, from scrapes and abrasion. In the context of areas where it is most likely to be used, it is often a good idea to protect the skin to avoid cuts etc 'going bad'.
The key point is the fabric, which is a combination of 4oz nylon on the main areas, with 7oz nylon to protect high wear points.This is a very lightweight suit which will not last long in areas of high abrasion! However, it dries much more quickly, and is much lighter than a standard cotton overall. In the tropics its resistance to rot is a significant benefit too.
