The BASIC is a compact ascender that offers perfect grip for off rope. The new model of the Petzl Basic is a compact and lightweight rope clamp for ascending a fixed rope or install a hoist system with backstop.
The low eyelet large enough to confirm the carabiners your lifeline and your stair string.
